I’ve had coffee from cortaditos many times but last week actually got some food. The place is simple clean and nice. Plenty of tables and chairs if you want to dine in. Pastries on display and a full menu of delicious Cuban food. Of course, I got a coffee which is a great blend of rocket fuel with great taste. For food I ordered a pan con bistec which came in a round roll rather than the traditional rectangular bread. It was a nice change. The steak was well seasoned and had great chew. The rest of the ingredients were fresh and it was a great sandwich. One of my favorites on bergenline, which is saying a lot considering the amount of competition.
I come everyday, love the food, the Coffee is AMAZING... the service is beyond perfect. Diana is super friendly and super sweet. I will keep coming every day, I highly recommend this place.
I don't usually take the time to write reviews but I feel compelled to write one for this business. Cortaditos has a lot of good and delicious food and amazing coffee but what also makes them different in my view, is that when they say "Esta es tu casa" is not a marketing strategy. The staff at every location l've visited goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and give you great service. North Bergen is my preferred location because it's the one nearest to me. Since my second visit, they remembered my name but l've had great experiences in Union City and American Dream as well. I highly recommend them for their service and for their food.
I am a coffee fanatic, and they definitely have the best coffee! I love the service here, and they have a nice ambiance. Also super convenient with the app! Try their tostadas and their shakes, delicious.
A great place to get a Cafecito and a mocha. The service is great and the empanadas even better.
Pleasant surprise. I was in the area. And after visiting plenty of places all week, i found Cortaditos. It was 3 of us and we got mango smoothies, pollo loco sandwiches, Cuban and a guava cheese empanada. The way they transformed this corner space is amazing. The murals and decor is great. Side note: i didn’t know they were a chain until i walked through American dream mall. The food and taste was great. They really deliver on consistency since I’ve been back twice since my first visit. The empanada was delicious and smoothies were great consistency. The pollo loco sandwiches were really yummy, we needed to add more sauce, but other than that, they were good. The Cuban, which is such a go to for me, was good. Had good taste and layers. It could use more pickles, on both occasions that i ordered it, there was only one small slice. So be sure to ask for more to get that more authentic taste. All in all, really solid place. Love the place! Rico cafe cubano. Recomendado! Went to visit NY for the first time and stayed in NJ. Found this place which reminded me of PR bakery. We ended up having brunch the 5 days we were there. Love the bread and the pastelitos. Saludos desde TN! Mucho exito!
Great vibe. Coffee is so rich. Never knew that Cuban coffee could taste so good. I’m definitely going to visit this place often!
